One of the oldest clubs in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, Pine Grove Country Club offers a quality course in a pristine north woods environment. Located in the heart of the City of Iron Mountain, just two hours north of Green Bay, Wisconsin, Pine Grove’s 18-hole course is carved out of virgin stands of white pine, red pine, oaks, and maple. The challenging terrain features an 84-foot elevation change. In addition to spectacular views, Canadian geese, bald eagles, white-tailed deer, red fox, pileated woodpeckers, white-throated sparrows, Baltimore orioles, and many other summering birds can be sighted or heard on the course.
TimberStone at Pine Mountain is a 5-star course voted by Golf Digest and Michigan’s 2004 Course of the Year. Sprawled out over 105 playable acres of Pine Mountain, TimberStone brings golf and nature together. With four sets of tees in play daily, players may choose an accommodating 5,000 yards or an intimidating 7,000 yards. From lakes and streams to undulating greens, TimberStone at Pine Mountain offers challenges to golfers of all abilities.
