One of the oldest clubs in
Michigans Upper Peninsula,
Pine Grove Country Club
offers a quality course in a pristine
north woods environment. Located in the
heart of the City of Iron Mountain, just
two hours north of Green Bay, Wisconsin,
Pine Groves 18-hole
course is carved out of virgin stands
of white pine, red pine, oaks, and maple.
The challenging terrain features an
84-foot elevation change. In addition to
spectacular views, Canadian geese, bald
eagles, white-tailed deer, red fox,
pileated woodpeckers, white-throated
sparrows, Baltimore orioles, and many
other summering birds can be sighted or
heard on the course.

Golf Course
TimberStone at Pine Mountain is a
5-star course voted by Golf Digest and
Michigans 2004 Course of the Year.
Sprawled out over 105 playable acres of
Pine Mountain, TimberStone brings golf and
nature together. With four sets of tees in
play daily, players may choose an
accommodating 5,000 yards or an
intimidating 7,000 yards. From lakes and
streams to undulating greens, TimberStone
at Pine Mountain offers challenges to
golfers of all abilities.
Snowmobile
Florence
County Snowmobile Club
The Florence County Snowmobile Club (Blue
Ox Trail System) was established in the
late 1960s by four men: Tony DeMuri, Paul
McCraw, Elmer Washburn and Chucky Kinnear.
The trail system today includes 140 miles
of funded trails and approximately 180
total miles of trail. This system includes
all of the trails in Florence County and
are maintained by the Florence County
Snowmobile Club. The club works hand in
hand with Florence County, State of
Wisconsin, Federal Government and private
landowners in providing what we believe is
one of the best trail systems in the
state.
